As the rather lengthy title suggests, this book is a collection of the founder of Pennsylvania William Penn's writings and his personal diary.

In his day, William Penn was the largest landowner in England (superseding even the king). He founded Philadephia and maintain unusually good relationships with the Native Americans due to his just and reasonable nature.
