Title

The Models of Culpability

Subject

Mens Rea, The Guilty Mind

Description

There are many different forms and ways that the mind is constructed, which is represented by many different overarching ideas. However, the “Guilty Mind” is depicted through five main ideas that all embody and form the foundation of this mind, which can only be fitted in one correct configuration. These five ideas are known as the Models of Culpability, which comprise of Strict Liability, Negligently, Recklessly, Knowingly, and Purposefully. This artifact represents these five ideas and shows how when oriented in the correct manner, construct the Guilty Mind or the idea of Mens Rea, where individuals are aware of their intentions to commit an act of crime. The artifact itself is 3D printed and composes of five separate parts, each individually printed.
